I hope you will enjoy and appreciate the songs – and hopefully take something away with you. I must add, though, that these are written by a songwriter, not a poet. So, lovers of contemporary poetry may shudder with horror when they realize that every lyric has a rhyming structure! This is why I do not say this is a poetry book - far from it. I have great respect and admiration for people who can write poetry - it is a skill that I have never really mastered. The songs cover life, death, love, childhood, The Beatles, family, past lives, souls, the universe, the environment, Suzhou, and, of course, connections.
